The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51-788E, test unit provided by Acer Germany.

"Erős gép, mindennapi játékra" - így hirdeti az Acer a Nitro 5-öt - egy nagyon pontos leírást adva ezzel róla. A Core i7 processzor minden fontos dologhoz elegendő erőt biztosít. A GeForce GTX1050 Ti-vel kombinálva, a készülék az összes jelenlegi játékot simán képes futtatni a matt, Full HD kijelzőn. A maximális részletességről azonban le kell mondanunk, ez a GPU arra nem elegendő.

A Nitro 5 jó mindenes, amelynél a hangsúly azért a játékokon van.

A készülék jól teljesít más területeken is (irodai feladatok, netezés). Terhelés alatt és alapjáraton is alig hallani, és alig melegszik fel. Emellett mindennapos gépelésre megfelelő, háttérvilágított billentyűzettel, és jó üzemidővel rendelkezik. Az SSD-nek hála a rendszer gyors, és a 2.5 inches HDD elegendő tárhelykapacitást biztosít.

A matt IPS kijelző betekintési szögei jók, kontrasztja szintén. A fényereje azonban lehetne jobb. A gyártó a csatlakozók terén is lehetett volna bőkezűbb. 1080 dollárért, egy Thunderbolt 3 port és egy DisplayPort elvárható lenne. A teljes terhelés alatt megerősödő zajon is lehetne faragni.
