A kompakt Nitro 5 összességében jól teljesít, de az általunk eddig vizsgált RTX 3070-es laptopokhoz képest átlag alatti képkockasebességet produkál. Ennek oka: Az Acer olyan TGP-t a választott, amely a megengedett tartomány alján - 85 watt - található. A GPU teljesítménye egy firmware-frissítéssel valamelyest növelhető.

Az Acer a Nitro 5 AN515-45-tel egy szolid gamer laptopot kínál.

A teljesítmény-kifejtés szempontjából nem merülnek fel problémák. A CPU és a GPU egyenletesen magas órajelen képes dolgozni. A laptop terhelés alatt érezhetően melegszik, de nem túlzottan. A zajszint megfelel a kategóriájának. A firmware-frissítés telepítésével a hő- és zajszintén enyhén emelkedhet.

A kijelző (QHD, IPS, 144 Hz) stabil látószögeket, jó átlagos fényerőt, matt felületet, gyors válaszidőt, jó színreprodukciót és jó színtérlefedettséget kínál. A kontraszt azonban túl alacsony.
