As usual, HP nailed it with the Spectre x360. As I mentioned in the introduction, the second-generation model had some pain points that were solved in a mid-stream refresh. I don't recall there actually being any pain points in the second one though, other than the shorter battery life that comes with a 4K display.

For example, the last iteration featured a side-mounted flush power button that often was difficult to find and press. This version’s button features a small dimple that makes it easy to locate by touch. A lot of companies might let those little things just roll on for another year or two, but not HP.

HP Spectre x360 (2017) Review: A Beautiful And Impressively Quiet Convertible

Overall, we are really impressed with the Spectre x360 and like the direction that HP has gone. It's a fantastic looking 2-in-1 with a brilliant display, it's fast, runs quiet, and has very good battery life to boot. If you're in the market for a premium convertible, the Spectre x360 is one to consider.
