Honor essentially took the Honor 8 as a base, enlarged it and fixed some of the flaws and shortcomings to create the Honor 8 Pro. The Honor 8 itself is a great phone and the 8 Pro is even better. The audio department could still use some improvement but nonetheless, it seems to offer more value for money than the Honor 8 did.
