Kontra
A GL62M egy olcsó, belépő szintű gaming gépnek készült. Ennek megfelelően képes a mai játékokat magas felbontással, magas részletességben megjeleníteni matt, Full HD kijelzőjén. Ezt az Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 videokártya teszi lehetővé. Jelentősen nagyobb teljesítményre képes elődjénél. Emellett a notebook nem csak játékok esetében teljesít jól, de gyakorlatilag minden más alkalmazási területen is. Erős Kaby Lake processzora biztosítja ezt a képességet. A remek hardver ellenére, terheléstől függetlenül a gép nem melegszik fel nagyon.
Az automata ventilátorvezérlést viszont az MSI javíthatná egy BIOS frissítéssel. A CPU ventilátor folyamatosan pörög alapjáraton is, és pulzáló, nyüszítő hangot ad ki. A felhasználóknak maguknak kell ezt megoldani, és ennek nem lenne szabad így történnie.
A billentyűzet rendben van, otthoni használatra megfelel. A világítás viszont hiányzik belőle. Az 1 TB 2.5 inches meghajtónak köszönhetően tárhelyben nem lesz hiány. A HDD cseréje pedig a gép aljának leszedésével megoldható. Emellett lehetőség van egy M.2-es SSD egyidejű beszerelésére is. A bővítőhely a SATA-3 és PCIe/NVMe modelleket is támogatja.
A GL62M kijelzője kiábrándító.
Az MSI egy sötét, kontrasztszegény TN panelt épített a gépbe, amelynek betekintési szögei is szűkek. 1000 euró (~$1064) feletti árért már egy világos, kontrasztos IPS kijelzőt várnánk. Az akku üzemideje szintén nem meggyőző.
Összességében az MSI túl sokat faragott a gép belépő szintre nyomásakor. Több versenytárs is jobban kiegyensúlyozott modelleket kínál, például a HP az Omen 15-ax206ng-t. Ez ugyanazt a CPU/GPU kombót használja, mint a GL62M, de IPS kijelzővel, megvilágított billentyűzettel, valamint egy SSD/HDD kombinációval van felszerelve. Az ára pedig hasonló az MSI gépéhez.
