With that said, OPPO needs to refine the software experience in its budget offerings. The Nothing Phone 2(a) could be an excellent option if you prioritise clean software. For gaming enthusiasts, the Redmi Note 13 Pro or POCO X6 Pro may be more suitable choices. However, if your focus is on cameras, particularly for selfies, the OPPO F25 Pro, boasting a 32MP front shooter, is sure to impress.

The design is definitely eye-catching and offers a fresh look. The overall output of the camera is also good, especially landscape and portraits clicked in good lighting.

The Oppo F27 Pro+ is not a bad phone. Not at all. But it exists in a segment where the competition is so incredibly tough. There are even other Oppo phones in this segment - such as Oppo Reno 12, which is quite close - that offer more bang for the buck. Having said that, the F27 Pro+ does offer quite a few niceties to users. The phone is robustly built and comes with class-leading water and dust resistance. Its performance is good enough as a daily driver, its battery life is fantastic and its display - although not made for 4K content - is bright and vibrant. But the camera performance lets it down and I wish it had a better chipset.

If you accidentally leave the phone behind in the pocket of your jeans before it goes through a washing machine, you should still find your phone to be working just fine after the wash cycle. You can use it in the rain without wiping the droplets off your display and you can even wash it clean.

The performance is decent but considering the price point the phone launched, it should have been better. Other phones in this price range over much better chipsets. Besides that, the camera performance is also not acceptable for this price. It has only a single camera on the back and the rest are gimmick.
