AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U
Az AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U egy vékony és könnyű laptopokba szánt processzor, amely a Cezanne generáción alapul. Az R5 5650U a Zen 3 mikroarchitektúrán alapuló nyolc magból hatot integrál, és a megjelenéskor a harmadik leggyorsabb U-sorozatú processzor. A magok 2,3 (garantált alapórajel) és 4,2 GHz (Turbo) közötti órajelen járnak, és támogatják az SMT / Hyperthreading (12 szál) technológiát. A chip a TSMC modern 7 nm-es eljárásában készül.
A PRO CPU-k további kezelési és biztonsági funkciókat kínálnak. Az 5650U egyébként megegyezik a Ryzen 5 5600U-val.
Az új Zen 3 mikroarchitektúra a Zen 2-höz képest jelentősen magasabb IPC-t (utasítás/órajel) kínál. Az asztali processzorok esetében az AMD átlagosan 19 százalékos növekedést állít, az alkalmazások tesztjei pedig 12% körüli növekedést mutattak ki azonos órajelen.
A Zen 3-nak köszönhetően megnövekedett órajel és az IPC javulása révén a Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U-nak egyértelműen gyorsabbnak kell lennie a 200 MHz-cel alacsonyabb órajelű Ryzen 5 4500U-nál.
A hat CPU-mag mellett az APU egy Radeon RX Vega 7 integrált grafikus kártyát is integrál, 7 CU-val és akár 1800 MHz-es órajelen. A kétcsatornás memóriavezérlő támogatja a DDR4-3200 és az energiatakarékos LPDDR4-4266 RAM memóriát. Továbbá 12 MB 3-as szintű gyorsítótár (a 4800U-nál található 8 MB-ról) 12 MB 3-as szintű gyorsítótár található a lapkán.
Az APU TDP-je 15 wattban van megadva (alapértelmezett), és a laptop gyártója 10 és 25 watt között konfigurálhatja (a legtöbb chipet 15 wattnál magasabbra konfigurálják). Ez azt jelenti, hogy a chipet vékony és könnyű laptopokba szánják (de ventilátorral).
