AMD Ryzen 7 4800U
Az AMD Ryzen 7 4800U egy, a Renoir architektúrán alapuló, vékony és könnyű laptopoknak szánt processzor. A 4800U mind a nyolc, Zen 2 mikroarchitektúrán alapuló magot integrálja. Ezeknek az órajele 1.8-tól (garantált alap órajel) 4.2 GHz-ig (Turbó) terjed, SMT / Hyperthreading (16 szál) támogatással. A chip a modern 7 nm-es eljárással van gyártva a TSMC-nél, és részben ennek köszönhetően az AMD úgy hirdeti, hogy a Renoir chipek esetében a teljesítmény wattonként 2x jobb. A hasonló elnevezésű Ryzen 7 4800H-hoz képest a 4800U lassúbb TDP-vel (15 kontra 45 watt) és alap órajellel (1.8 kontra 2.9 GHz) rendelkezik.
Az AMD szerint a Ryzen 7 4800U 4 %-kal gyorsabb a Cinebench R20 egyszálas tesztben és 90 %-kal gyorsabb a többszálas tesztben a gyors Intel Core i7-1065G7-hez (Ice Lake, 4 mag, 3.9 GHz) képest. Ez azt jelenti, hogy a CPU várhatóan az egyik leggyorsabb processzor a 15 wattos TDP tartományban, és kiválóan alkalmas a megterhelőbb feladatok elvégzésére. A fenntartott teljesítmény viszont nagyban függ a laptop hűtőrendszerétől és a TDP beállításoktól.
A nyolc CPU mag mellett az APU integrál egy Radeon RX Vega 8 integrált grafikus kártyát is, 8 CU-val és 1750 MHz-ig. A kétcsatornás memóriavezérlő DDR4-3200 és energiahatékony LPDDR4-4266 RAM támogatással bír. Ezenkívül a chipen 8 MB-s 3. szintű gyorsítótár található. Az APU TDP-je 15 wattnál (alapértelmezett) van meghatározva, és 10 és 25 watt között konfigurálható a laptop terjesztője által. Ez azt jelenti, hogy a chip vékony és könnyű (de ventilátoros) laptopoknak van szánva.
