Intel Core i9-10885H
Az Intel Core i9-10885H a Comet Lake architektúrán (CML-H, a Skylake 4. generációja) alapuló, nyolc maggal rendelkező csúcskategóriás processzor laptopokba. A processzor órajele 2,4 és 5,3 GHz között van, és a Hyper-Threadingnek köszönhetően akár tizenhat szálat is képes egyszerre végrehajtani. A processzor továbbra is a régi 14 nm-es (14nm++) eljárással készül.
A Comet Lake architektúra a Coffee Lake-hez hasonló, ugyanazokat a funkciókat kínálja, és ugyanabban a 14 nm-es eljárással készül. A javított órajeleken kívül a memóriavezérlő most már támogatja a gyorsabb DDR4-2933 RAM-ot is. További információk a Comet Lake-ről és a róla szóló összes modellről és cikkről itt találhatók.
A Core i9-10855H támogatja a vPro, TXT és SIPP menedzsment funkciókat.
A Core i9-10885H teljesítménye valamivel a régebbi Core i9-9980HK csúcsmodell felett kell, hogy legyen, köszönhetően a potenciálisan magasabb egymagos turbónak. A 8 magnak és a magas turbósebességnek köszönhetően még az igényes alkalmazásoknak is nagyon jól kell futniuk a CPU-n. A hosszú távú teljesítmény azonban mindig a laptop hűtőrendszerétől és a rendszer konfigurációjától függ. A bejelentés időpontjában az i9-10885H a második leggyorsabb Comet Lake-H CPU a Core i9-10980HK mögött.
Az integrált Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU elvileg hasonló teljesítményt nyújt, mint a Core i7-9880H-ban található UHD630. Low-end megoldásként az aktuális játékokat csak csökkentett részletességgel fogja zökkenőmentesen futtatni - ha egyáltalán.
Az Intel a TDP-t 45 wattal adja meg, ezért az i9 csak nagyméretű, jó hűtési megoldásokkal rendelkező laptopokba való. A cTDP-down használatával a CPU 35 wattra is konfigurálható, ami csökkentett teljesítményt eredményez.
