Intel Pentium Silver N6005
Az Intel Pentium Silver N6005 egy négymagos SoC a Jasper Lake sorozatból, amelyet elsősorban olcsó és kis asztali gépekbe szántak, és 2021 elején jelentették be. A négy Tremont CPU-mag 2 és 3,3 GHz közötti órajelen (single core Burst) működik, és nem kínál HyperThreadinget (SMT). Az N6005 1,5 MB L2 és 4 MB L3 gyorsítótárat használ. A lapka 10 nm-es gyártásban készül az Intelnél (valószínűleg ugyanabban az eljárásban, mint az Ice Lake).
A processzor architektúrája a Tremont nevet viseli, és az elődben lévő régi Golmont Plus magokhoz képest teljes újratervezés. Az Intel szerint egy mag egyszálas teljesítménye átlagosan 30%-kal javulhatott (10-80%-kal a SPECint és SPECfp összes tesztjében).
A négymagos CPU-blokk mellett a SoC egy 32 EU-s Intel UHD Graphics GPU-t integrált 450 - 900 MHz-es órajelen, valamint egy LPDDR4(x) kétcsatornás memóriavezérlőt (akár 16 GB és 2933 MHz). A lapka most már részben Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), 8 PCIe 3.0 sáv, 14 USB 2.0/ 3.2 port és két SATA 6.0 portot is integrál. A csomagolás nagyobb lett, és 35 x 24 mm-es (szemben pl. az N5030-as 25 x 24 mm-es méretével). A SoC közvetlenül az alaplapra van forrasztva (BGA), és nem lehet könnyen cserélni.
Az új CPU-architektúrának köszönhetően az N6005 teljesítményének egyértelműen jobbnak kell lennie a régi Pentium N5030-hoz képest. Azonban még mindig elmaradhat a Tiger Lake generációs modern Core processzoroktól. Ezért a CPU-t olyan alapvető feladatokra szánjuk, mint az irodai öltönyök, webböngészés mérsékelt multitaskinggal.
Az Intel az elődhöz hasonlóan 10 wattal adja meg a TDP-t (szemben a mobil N6000 6 W-os értékével). A chip tehát elméletileg passzívan hűthető, de elképzelhetőek ventilátorral szerelt SKU-k is.
