Mediatek Dimensity 8020

A MediaTek Dimensity 8020 egy ARM-alapú System-on-a-Chip (SoC), hasonlóan a régebbi Dimensity 1100. Kifejezetten a Android okostelefonokban való használatra tervezték, és teljesítményét tekintve a középkategóriába tartozik. Támogatja az összes jelenlegi mobilhálózati szabványt, beleértve az 5G-t 2CC-CA (200MHz) és FDD+TDD-vel.

A CPU összesen nyolc magból áll, amelyek két klaszterre oszlanak. Az egyik klaszter négy ARM Cortex-A78 teljesítményű magot tartalmaz, amelyek sebessége legfeljebb 2,6 GHz, míg a másik klaszter négy ARM Cortex-A55 energiatakarékos magot tartalmaz, amelyek sebessége legfeljebb 2,0 GHz. Memóriaként LPDDR4 RAM használható, belső tárolóként pedig támogatja az UFS 3.1-et.

A csatlakoztathatóság tekintetében Dual-5G támogatást, valamint Wi-Fi 6 és Bluetooth 5.2 kapcsolatot kínál.

Az integrált grafikus egység, ARM Mali-G77 MC9akár 2560 x 1080-as felbontású kijelzőket is képes ellátni 144 Hz-es képfrissítési frekvenciával (valószínűleg csak Full HD+ esetén).

A chipet a TSMC gyártja a jelenlegi 6 nm-es eljárással a középkategóriás szegmensben.
